What We Do

1. Invest

Each of us has the potential to invest as an Angel in your startup. Our investment(s) would be a show of commitment and a way to align incentives; however, this is probably the least of the three things we do.

2. Advise

This is the most important thing we do. Some of us have started and operated multiple companies, raised money from the best investors (Sequoia, GDP Ventures, AC Ventures, Alpha JWC, Gree Ventures, Kejora, etc.) in South East Asia. Maybe more importantly, before each company, we tried dozens of ideas that didn’t work. As a result, we learned a lot about what ideas are promising, how to validate them, and how to grow them. We would ask you the critical questions in a socratic way to sharpen your ideas and potentially uncover hidden opportunities. Here we will ask you for advisory shares which you and the advisor(s) can negotiate. Having prominent figure/names advisor(s) in your deck would also help your deck look better.

3. Help You with Fund Raising

Aside from introducing you to investors, we’ll spend time advising you on the following: developing your pitch deck structure and content, develop your pitching strategy and process, strategizing on how to target the right investors the best practices to maximize your chance to get funded, and understanding and negotiating the terms of an investment so that you can avoid the traps laid by greedy investors.
